1. Overview

AdLeads ("we", "our") provides a Chrome extension and web dashboard to help you extract contact information from Facebook Ads Library. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Scraping is user-initiated and runs locally in your browser until you choose to sync data to our servers.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account data: When you sign up, we store your email and authentication identifier (via our auth provider) so you can access the dashboard and sync leads.
  • Lead data you sync: If you use the extension to sync leads to our dashboard, we store the data you send: page/advertiser names, search query, location, country, email, phone, profile URLs, and any AI-generated snippets. We do not scrape or collect this data ourselves; it is generated by the extension on your device and only sent when you choose to sync.
  • Usage and billing: We track lead counts and subscription tier for limits and billing. We may log minimal request data (e.g. API usage) for operations and abuse prevention.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: provide the dashboard and sync service; enforce usage limits and process payments; improve the product; and comply with law. We do not sell your personal data or lead data to third parties. Lead data is used solely to display and export it for you.

4. OpenAI and Third Parties

The extension can generate AI-powered snippets. If you enable this, your OpenAI API key is used by the extension to call OpenAI from your browser. We do not store or see your OpenAI key. Review OpenAI's privacy policy for their handling of requests. We use Clerk for authentication and Stripe for payments; their policies apply to those interactions.

5. Data Storage and Security

Account and synced lead data are stored on our database (hosted by our infrastructure provider). We use industry-standard measures to protect data. Data you do not sync never leaves your device.

6. Your Rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account and lead data from the dashboard. You may export your leads at any time. To delete your account and associated data, contact us or use account deletion in the dashboard if available. Residents of certain jurisdictions may have additional rights (e.g. access, portability, restriction, objection) under applicable law.

7. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
